Animal Health Angels backs Marleybones as part of £2.5M funding round

Marleybones, the UK’s premium dog-nutrition brand behind Pantry Fresh® meals, has closed a £2.5M funding round, and we’re proud to have taken part!

Born from a frustration with the lack of balance between quality and convenience in dog food, Marleybones set out to make feeding healthy, easy, and personal with slow-cooked meals, natural ingredients, and zero preservatives.

The round was led by TAW Ventures, the investment firm founded by Jane Lauder, with follow-on support from existing backers JamJar Investments, Active Partners, and Animal Health Angels, and proudly stands out for its strong female representation across founders and investors.

Since their last funding round, co-founders Josephine Bager and Mikala Skov have achieved impressive milestones:
